On August 18, 2024 Sargent Metal Works brought two cars to the show field at the 74th Pebble Beach concours event in Pebble Beach, California.
The first car is a 1936 Delahaye 135 Teardrop Coupe with a Figoni et Falaschi body. This car has a special engine and period racing history from 1936 to about 1940. It is owned by Mr. & Mrs. David D'Addario of Fort Pierce Florida. This car won 3rd place in the European Super Sport class.
The second car is a 1933 Type 55 Jean Bugatti Roadster, belonging to Mr. & Mrs. Bob Bishop of Palm Beach Florida. There has been 12 of this car made; out of the 12, this car is known to be the best surviving example with the original body and matching numbers chassis components. This car won 1st in the J3 class and ended up in the winners circle; where the best of show is picked from, it too was in the European Super Sport class.
Both cars did the tour on Thursday without an issue.
